Beaming issue
There is a problem with beaming correctly in Version 4.
The categories in the Beaming Properties have changed: what used to be Beam Start (a note with a double flag to the right) is now Break Beam Left, and it does not act in the same way. In the attached stub, what I need is for the triplet to be beamed together (as it is) and separate from the succeeding notes (as it is at the moment) and the succeeding two notes to be beamed together as a pair. However, what actually happens with the other commands is that the triplet becomes connected to the following two notes by a beam, which is not what I want at all.
I use version MuseScore 4.0.4.1 on a Mac Monterey 12.6.5

I think we may be cursed by different versions of MuseScore. What you have posted is quite different: the pitches are the same, but the note values and the beams are different. I use Version 4 on a Mac.

But certainly not MuseScore 4.0.4.1 as written in the initial post. 4.0.2 is the latest currently

OK, 4.0.1, so you should be updating to 4.0.2

Thanks for the tip. Now done.

I have now fixed the problem with a workaround. MuseScore needs to update the manual for Version 4 on this issue

Feel free to correct the manual, it is (like) a wiki
