Musescore 3.6 - File continuosly crashes while editing
I am making an 18 minute song (14 minutes finished) and the file was starting to crash after making minor edits after reaching 450-550 KB. I suppose this is because of the file size, and I am looking for solutions that don't require me to separate it into different files.
I attached the file if there is some issue in particular with it.

I made a minor edit with no problem.

The reproducibility is pretty random. I am editing the score and suddenly when a try to change a note length Musescore crashes, or I try to add a tie and Musescore crashes. I was working with another score which was about 2x smaller and the problem did not reproduce. I have noticed that most of the crashes come from changing note lengths.

A reproducible crash, along with your step-by-step instructions, is what's needed.
No problem with that file for me neither.
About half size of the score stems from the image, so try whether it works better for you without that

I tried deleting the image and it was reduced by only ~30 kb, so I doubt its the image

Your picture has no file extension (suffix) identifying it as an image file.
Unzipping your MuseScore .mscz file, I only see it named as: 25f955b321a82825dfe4523b9e839d59_
Type of file: File
It has no .jpg, .bmp, .png, ...etc. extension. I opened it in Gimp (image editor) and it seems to be a .png file.
Maybe re-name the file with the correct file extension as in my attachment.

I believe that's just a red herring, the real cause most probably is the corruption in some of the parts, see below

That's a known bug in 3.6.2, if you delete an image from the score it still remains in the mscz.
Opening the score in a 4.1 delevelopment build (which should have fixed that image delete bug, 3.7 too) shows corruptions in the parts (3.x, 4.0.0 and 4.0.1 doesn't check for nor show these, 4.0.2 does though):

The score was last saved with 3.6.0, so first of all update to 3.6.2, even if not for the sake of this particular problem. Then delete and regenerate the parts, at least those 3 mentioned above. these seem to be the cause for the crashes on save, which I can reproduce in that 4.1 deleveopment/debug build and a 3.7 development/debug build, due to a failied assertion, but not in 4.0.2 or 3.6.2 (or any other non-debug version I guess)
Attache the fixed score, I deleted and regenerated the corrupt parts, special formatting might have gone lost along the way, so double check the layout of these parts
