Two simple user interface requests (help)

I am enjoying Musescore, and I can see that it is very powerful
As a newbie I am finding there is a big learning curve, I suppose this is to be expected as musical notation is complex
I have three small problems.
I am finding it hard to delete a note that I have entered by mistake (del or bkspace do not seem to work)
I often end up with two notes on top of each other, and once again I am unable to delete one of them
As regards meaures if I have say 3 measures in one part and 5 on the next, how can I move the first one of the second part back to the first part? (suck it back as it were)

Del or backspace are supposed to be the way to delete notes. After you select them, of course. You might need to get out of note input mode first.
MuseScore spaces notes and measures as best it can. You can force measures onto a different line with system breaks. I think I would finish the piece before I did that because things will change as you go alone.
