Musescore Alto Voice Unnaturally Repeating
I have a whole note tied to a whole note, but it plays a completely different rhythm. I've restarted musescore several times to no avail. I also tried restarting my computer, and that didn't work either.

On my system, the alto part does indeed do something funny on that first measure of the repeat. Basic Sounds alto doesn't do it. Neither does Muse Sounds soprano. Maybe Muse altos don't like holding a D5 for so long :)

Haha, thanks! :)
I just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me.

How do I get basic sounds alto? Also, I tried using muse sounds soprano and tenor, and they did the same thing.

In the mixer, instead of selecting Muse Sounds, select Sound Fonts. Select MS Basic.

A sound corruption in the Altos can be heard in measure 14 when it goes back to that measure after the repeat sign. The whole note sounds like several smaller notes. This is confirmed in version 4.0.2 and the 4.1.0 Testing Beta version. I tried removing the dynamic markings and the hairpin at measure 14 and then just putting a mf at that measure. The rhythm is okay but upon the repeat, measure 14 swells in volume for no reason. I removed the hairpin and it still swells. So there's a problem with hairpins and/or dynamic markings when chords are played after a repeat.
