Midi playback different in Synthesia vs Musescore 4

Hi all,

I'm notating a piece and there's a slight discrepancy in the midi file vs the musescore notation. It's supposed to play as a grace note, but synthesia is clumping it into one big chord and playing it at the same time as the eighth note chord before it. Why is this happening? Is there any fix to this? I tried the exact same notation in musescore 3 and it worked fine. Is this just simply an unavoidable issue in 4?

I also noticed that staccato notes don't properly export into synthesia from Musescore 4, but they do from 3. I want to use 4 and support the team behind musescore (also the design and realistic sound of the instruments is greatly improved, as well as quality of life stuff), but it seems like there are some compatibility issues currently between synthesia and musescore 4.
