Tuplets crash issue - quick fix or workaround?
The widely reported bug that makes Musescore 4.1 crash when making tuplets while using linked staffs ( https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/18595 ) - is this something that will be fixed very soon, rather than the lengthy time it takes to issue the next version of the program, as was in the case between 4.0 and 4.1? This issue is one that affects me greatly, since I make many guitar+tab scores.
In the meantime, is there a workaround that will allow me to make tuplets without a crash?

According to this https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/18702 it is fixed in 4.1.1 which is due to be released soon.

OK. I like the word "soon." I hope "soon" means "very soon." This is a real impediment to my work. I see they suggest using a nightly build until then, but what a hassle.

If you look here https://github.com/orgs/musescore/projects/31 it seems pretty ready to go.

Which OS? nightly builds should be very simple to use on macOS or Linux, and as of now, also simple on WIndows since they are available as portable apps. I guess maybe there is not yet a portable app version of 4.1.1 but the master build should work for now as well.
A possible workaround could be, don't add the linked staff until you've added the notes.

Not really practical in my workflow.
I have no projects on the burner at the moment. I guess I'll just wait for 4.1.1 and if there's something that can't wait I'll install a nightly.
