Musescore 4.1 downloaded without muse hub
After downloading MuseScore 4.1 withouut muse hub I learned I need it to get the new Muse sounds orchestral library. Should I uninstall musescore and downloaded it again with muse hub?

At the top of this page select Download/Software and select the Windows box that says "Download for Windows (64 bit)". Open it and follow the instruction to get the sounds. Turn off all the other things like open when you start your computer. when done, scroll to the bottom and select Quit. You don't need The hub running all the time. The hub will be in your list of programs. I start it every once in a while to check for updates. Then quit when updates finish.

Thanks for your help. Hub will not start when my computer loads the programs on start. I'll check once in while for updates.
I have the same issue: how to get the sounds. Once MS 4.1 started up, the hub app will no longer open. Is there another option to get the sound libraries?

Ok, solved it. Looked in Activity Monitor and the hub app was still running though it did not show up in command-tab. Had to do a 'force quit' to stop it and then restarted it. Downloading the sounds as I type. :-)
