new downloads not opening in musescore 4
I recently installed musescore 4. I found a score to download and when it opened it opened in my old version of musescore. How can I get it to open in musescore 4?

First, I would make a copy of you old version scores folder and move it off your computer.
Then with you old version score, right click and an option should be there to open with MU4.
I suggested moving a copy of the folder because it will make it easier to open in the old version if you need to.
MU4 will want to own all mscz files. And when you save in MU4, you can't easily open that file on the old version.
Either launch MS4 and open the file from within the program or tell your OS (Operating Sysytem - Windows, ubuntu, Mac etc.) which program to use (MS4, in this case) to associate certain file types with (.MSCZ and .MSCX in this case). This might vary by OS and you can Google "file association" which might help.
