Bad measure

The first measure of the oboe part is "dead." Can't choose it or click on it. I don't know how this happened. Other than deleting the whole part and starting over is there a way to fix this?

I don't know how that happened either.
The solution to repair it is:

  • select measure 2
  • Add/Measures/insert one measure
  • copy the Flute notes of measure 1 to this new measure 2 (in general: those of all other instruments too, but here they are empty, so you can omit this step)
  • select measure 1 (of Flute or Clarinet) and press Ctrl-DEL to remove the bad measure.
