Guitar Fretboard Diagrams!
Hi,
I have followed the instructions here https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/fretboard-diagrams#add-fretboard-di…
I have two main questions / issues. I need to create an Am7 fretboard diagram. I was able to start from Am and change the dots so that the correct chord is shown. But I can't see anywhere to change the name? It still says Am over the top. Also, I can't see any way to save it, is there a way to save this diagram to the palette so I have Am7 at the ready for next time?
Bonus questions! I see there are different styles available for the dots, but is there any way to get the dots to show finger numbers? Like a dot with a number 1 in it to show that that note should be fretted with index finger? Also, is there any way to make the dots bigger relative to the rest of the diagram? That way I could superimpose my own finger numbers if needed.
thank you1!!1

Sloppy workaround, I used "chordpic.com" and then imported the images into my score. But still curious if there's a good way to do this "in the box" wha
I'll be frantically refreshing this page in the meantime <3
Regarding renaming the diagram's text from Am to Am7—that is not an option in the dialog, however, in the score, simply double click the Am and add the 7 ... or type whatever you want as a name. MuseScore has a set of logical names and only those will playback when play enabled.

I've heard that the Forum is now largely ignored by development and submissions should go to Github

You should be able to drag a fretboard diagram to a pallet. But there are complaints about the reliability of that function:
