Problem with fretboard diagram layout algorithm
If the fretboard diagram text is wider than the diagram, the algorithm choses a vertical/horizontal placement that doesn't work properly. There should be an option to make the measures wider to accommodate the wider text widths.

Hello, does this suit you?
Maybe I didn't understand the problem?
MuseScore doesn't employ any special AI to try to decide how to handle collisions of this nature. If you have too many chords to fit, you simply need to space the measure widely. Yopu've done that here with breaks every four bars, but you're in continuous view, so of course that won't have any effect. Switch to page view and you'll see your fretboard diagrams don't overlap at all, because there is plenty of room.
it's certainly possible - if someone opens a feature request issue on GitHub - that someday MuseScore might automatically widen measures as it does for chord symbols and lyrics.
