How to remove vertical lines from staff that extends between treble and bass
Friends,
My piano scores have the measure lines running from the treble clef down through the space between to the bottom of the bass clef. How do I make the middle of that line go away? I want the measure line to not extend into the empty space between staves. I could start a new SATB closed score, but how can I change it in an existing score?

Click on the middle part of the barline. Drag the small square 'handle' up to the treble clef staff.

Another approach, which applies the change right through the score:

1. Right-click the barline, from the popup menu choose Select > Similar on this stave
2. In the Properties panel, disable the checkbox "Span to next stave /next staff"
