A Bug?
Hello, Forum Members,
What would be the recommendation if my score starts looking like this (see picture):
That happens after I implode several notes into the upper stave, or simply add another voice choral-notation-wise into the stave. Naturally, I want just a dotted eight note (D and B) followed by a sixteenth note (C and A). Musescore connects them with a sixteenth note grouping, making D and B look like a sixteenth note, which it is not.
Thank you,
Ringolivio

First, if your 2 voices notes have the same duration, you can have all the notes in voice 1...........if you need the hamps in different direction, you must use 2 voices, and lookink for the direction of hamp, one up, one down .....https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/implode-and-explode

hampe (FR) = stem (EN)
It's difficult to be certain without your score (.mscz file). But it looks to me as if you have entered notes in Voice 1 and Voice 3 - and these both default to stem up, which is why there are collisions.
To get a clearer result, use Voice 1 (stems up) and Voice 2 (stems down).
