Playback Panel
I tried to access the Playback Panel to no avail. On Mac, I hit fn+F11, it brings me to my desktop. What's wrong? I'm following directions to access it so something is not right. I'm using version 4.
While I'm here, looping specific bars doesn't always work. Gets frustrating.
Thanks.

Thanks but it's not the tempo I'm having problems changing. I'm interested in changing the number of beats. For instance, if I have 4 quarter notes in a bar, the tempo currently beats on the 1st & 3rd quarter notes. I want it beating on all four quarter notes.
Thanks.

For me, the metronome plays every beat of a 4/4 time signature by default, both in MS3 and in MS4.
There is a workaround, mentioned in a previous thread about customizing the metronome - just add a snare drum to your score, to play the rhythm you wan. Link to the thread:

I can't figure out how to add the snare drum. Guess I'll have to put up with the metronome as is. Thanks for helping.
This behaviour has changed from v3. F11 (Windows/Linux) or [Cmd]F11 (Mac) used to show the Play Panel but it now shows FullScreen.
The full list of keyboard shortcuts is here:

By default, the Play panel is up on the right but you have to drag the bit with 6 dots down to show the tempo slider etc.

Thanks, I was hoping this play panel would do the trick but there are no settings to change what I want to change.
