Chimes, by default, appearing between winds and brass. (EDIT: Now they appear below the strings)
I'm pretty sure it's normal to have chimes in the percussion section. Also, the default layout is orchestral. Why do the chimes appear here?

Which version? In 4.2 chimes aren't included in the default Symphony orchestra or concert band template.

When you add them, you have to reposition them to the percussion section.

Oh, I see. Sorry, I meant that when chimes are added, they are usually in the percussion section.
