No toolbar. Can’t do anything at all.
My score is fine but I can’t do anything to it at all. No toolbar at the top. Can’t access palettes or quit, save, export, anything.

Try reverting to factory settings, and then reinstalling. Your scores will be saved.

Turns out all I had to do was go into the upper left hand corner above Home and hover there. I was able to get the menu. Went to preferences and just reset it
Don't bother with a re-install. It never works.
The toolbar is off your screen at the top. Hit F+11 and see what happens.
As already mentioned, a new installation does not work. MuseScore saves many settings in additional locations and these are not reset or overwritten during a new installation.
If this is nevertheless necessary for other reasons, you can also have the installation repaired. In Windows in the Control Panel / Programs. Use instead of 'unistall' the repair function.
