Removing staff voices

Does anybody here or of the Musescore team know how to remove a voice from a staff? I am editing a score that has two voices, and I removed the notes in Voice 2, but the rests of Voice 2 are still there. How can I get rid of it? I am simplifying a score for a music student, and I am just going to have the melody in the Treble Clef by itself, and some of the notes I removed are from Voice 2, and since I don't need it, I don't want it there, but I cannot figure out how to get rid of it. I have found lots of videos on how to ADD voices to a score, but not on how to REMOVE voices. Is there a way, or do I just need to make the empty Voice 2 invisible?
