How to notate a multi-measure grand pause
Good day all! Working on a file that has a few grand pauses.
While I realize that just having everyone rest for a couple of bars would have the intended effect, I'd like to notate it as in the included pic - the number of measures rest on top of the staff, and G.P. below.
I'm sure I can puzzle something acceptable out, but is there a "best practice" method to accomplish this in MuseScore 4?
Many thanks!

Just press the "M" on your computer keyboard.

That did solve another question I had, thanks! I need to break a multi-measure rest in one part to notate the grand pause in its correct location.
But, unless I read the referenced page incorrectly, pressing M doesn't enable me to make it look like the provided example, apologies! Did I miss it?

Anchor the "G.P." to an element in the preceding bar.

Thank you! Solves my issue nicely!
What I was hoping for, however, was something that assigned/auto-centered the G.P. under the rest as the 3 is centered over it, if such a thing is buried in a menu somewhere. That would remove placement issues between the score and parts when using the "attach in a different bar and slide" method, or if there are multi-measure rests on both sides of the G.P. in a particular part and therefore nothing to attach it to without creating an orphan measure that wouldn't be collapsed into a multimeasure rest.
If any of the programmers are reading this, perhaps there could be a way to right-click the 3 and select "add G.P. to multimeasure rest" to accomplish this.
Again, thank for your response!
