Right-click the staff -> Staff/Part Properties -> Untick "Show barlines" ?
EDIT: It depends on what you want.
You can also use other features. For example: Right-click on the first measure-> Measure properties -> At real duration, edit for a very long duration (so as to cover your entire score), I don't know, for example, 100 or 200/4. Then, remove the remaining measures.
Another function to consider. After entering your score "normally" (with barlines), go to the menu "Tools" -> Measures -> Join selected measures
Try it out on a new short score to check what you prefer.
