Measure numbers centered below the system (not staff)

I'm trying to center measure numbers under every measure under the whole system rather than just the top staff. I've browsed many posts and it appears to not be possible automatically. It is possible manually, however if you add measure numbers at 1 measure intervals and adjust the y-positioning so that it's lowered, it isn't uniform across the score because of different heights of systems.

the "select similar in range" feature also doesn't work with measure numbers, i.e. select a system, right click on a measure number in that selection, click "select similar in range", and then nothing is highlighted and the properties tab doesn't have options because nothing is selected. but even if that did work, still tedious to go through each system and do that.
