Dynamics are not changing basic choral note volumes in current version of Musescore 4

Dear All,
I have begun entering a clean score.
When I assign different dynamics (pp,p,mf,ff) to the starting notes, it is not changing the volume at which they are played.
I am using the basic choral pack, not the (ultra quiet) choral sounds from Muse Hub.
I'll attach the incomplete score; it is something I am making for private choral practice.
As I said, it is very incomplete, only the first bar and a half.
Does anyone have any suggestions please?
