I have a corrupted measure that has a + at the upper right corner. How do I delete it?

The plus sign means that the Measure Properties have an Actual Measure Duration longer than the Nominal Duration. (See the screenshot.)
To delete a measure (corrupt or otherwise), select the measure and press Ctrl+Delete.
If it's truly corrupt, I recommend also deleting the measure before and after, as the corruption could be caused by something that a note is connected to, rather than by the note itself.
