Strange behaviour When Opening

I have loaded MuseScore 4 onto my MacBook Pro M3 (Sonora 14.3). When I open MuseScore it asks if it can access files. I tick OK. Then it seems to close. I click MS again in the task bar and it opens OK. Not quite sure what's going on. Best info I've got atm.
