Musescore 4 Crashed and Now I can't open the file.

I was working on a quartet piece and the second i finished it all I wanted to do was remove the piano part as a whole as I was just using it as a base. This caused all of MuseScore to crash and when reopening it, it was gone. I restarted my PC as I couldn't find the score anywhere and now I'm getting this notification asking if I want to restore the session which then results in this screenshot. I never got the opportunity to fully save and download the score before it crashed so hopefully I don't have to restart.

  1. Your score is gone
  2. You must have saved the file at least once
  3. Musescore definitely needs to change the strategy of how the program should behave if the file was not saved in the first place.
  4. "I'm getting this notification asking if I want to restore the session" This looks like a bug, because new_project.mscz is a temporary file
