Keyboard data entry
Hi all,
I'm switching over from Noteworthy to MuseScore, and am finding the keyboard and mouse data entry setup to be slow and cumbersome.
In Noteworthy, about 80% of the data entry could be done on the number pad, which I found to be fast and efficient,. Unfortunately, like so much software over the years, Noteworthy has been wiped out by the competition and hasn't been updated in quite awhile.
Is there a way in MuseScore to use the 9-key number pad for entering note values, accidentals, rests, etc.?
Thanks.

The 9-key number pad is the standard, or most efficient, way to enter note (and rest) values. Arrow up and down, and (in MS4) “+”,”-“, and “=“ enter sharps, flats, and naturals. “0” enters a rest.

Thanks - I'm glad to hear it.
I've been working my way through the tutorials and hadn't encountered that yet.
