Playback an octave lower

All of my pieces are playing back an octave lower than written, even when soundfonts are changed. I have uninstalled/reinstalled musescore and muse hub before and it worked for a little while, but now that wont even fix it.
Putting the octave up on it doesn't help either, as that limits the range that can be played.
