How to split beams only for quavers in groups of three?
If you put in a quaver rest followed by three quavers in 2 beats, all three beams join up like this:
I would prefer if the beams instead joined like this:
However, I cannot find a way to do this except for manually changing the beam for the first quaver every time. If I use the default beams in the Time Signature Properties like this:
, it also makes quavers in groups of four split the beams as well like this:
Is there a way to make only quavers in groups of three split the beams (the first one disconnected from the rest).

That'd work - until you had four eighth notes and wanted them beamed together. It'd be nice to be able to include an eighth rest in the main settings. For example, in my image file, I did one thing when the eighth rest was on 1, something different when it was on 1+, different again on beat 2, etc.
I had a keyboard shortcut for Musescore 3 that allowed me to select a note and then press my shortcut keys to make it a "non-beamed" note... now I just have to remember how I did it so I can use it with MS4.

See:

and type "No beam" in the search box.
