What Time Signature should this song be in?
I'm struggling to determine the time sig. of this song, as it's pretty off-beat with lots of dotted eighth notes. I'm leaning towards 8/8 instead of 4/4. It gives me that 3+2+3 feel though, so that's why I'm asking you guys! Open the file in Musescore 4 for it to work.
P.S. This is NOT Cavatina from Deer Hunter, it's just I named it without even realizing that existed.

3/4 or 6/8 makes sense. But I prefer the latter.

Update: Sorry, I realize I was looking at the Deer Hunter Cavatina, not at your composition!
Being old fashioned, I dislike consecutive dotted 8th notes. I prefer a quarter note triplet at the beginning of the measure instead. That gives a slight jump on the following notes. I don't have a problem with 4/4.
8/8 for me as as you say it's got that 3+2+3 lilt, I'd use duplets though.
