multimeasure rests - orchestral pianopart

I am copying the pianopart of Prokofiev's Romeo & Julia. The original part shows just one number in the middle between the staffs (see image 1). Musescore gives the following result: Image 2. Eventually I managed to get the right result (see image 3), but the workaround costs a lot of time (see image 4).
Did I miss a feature?

Select the first treble clef multi measure rest number. Right click and select similar thus staff. That should select all the treble staff rest numbers. Select Properties from the palettes. un-check "show numbers".

Select the numbers for the Bass clef the same way. uncheck "auto place". Use the number position arrows to move the numbers up.
