Note Spacing
Re uploaded image: Is there a way to increase the space between the "E" tremolo and the preceding G? Thanks!

Select the note. Go to Properties>Appearances. Hit the up arrow to the right of the horizontal offset window.

Not the easiest thing to find.
Another way would be to go click in the E and go to Properties>>Appearance>>Leading Space, and increase that value. That way, any notes or rests in other staffs, which fall on the same beat, would also be shifted, and kept in line vertically.
