Leading barline/TAB
In the following file, the barline at the beginning of each line is missing, as is the TAB on each line. Have I missed a setting?
(Note: I am only interested in the first page, please ignore what follows it)

Go to menu Format / Style / Barlines / Tick "Barline at start of single staff"
Of course, you can't choose with this option to display the barlines on just one page, the first one for example. It's all over the score or nothing.
Or you'll have to tinker, by adding barlines symbols (Symbols palette). I'm not sure that's relevant here.

Thank you. I have other files made with an earlier version that do have the leading barline, so it seems like something has changed(?) They also have "TAB" on each line. How is that enabled?

What would have changed?
As far as I know, the default has always been the same, i.e. no first barline, and only one "TAB" clef displayed in the first system.

In menu Format / Style , Clefs &, time signatures / Visibility: Untick "Hide TAB clef after the first system they appear".
And so, you get (eg for ukulele): Uke Template.mscz

Thanks again! I can't say what/why might have changed. What I can say is that I didn't turn those on myself (as I was unaware of them), they were just there in other files so I didn't think twice about it. Now I know so this is good!
