Delay when changing subdivisions

In recent 4.4/master versions, when changing an 1/8th note to a quarter note using the ‘5’ key, there will occasionally be a three second delay. It is hard to consistently reproduce.

Anyone else get this? I’m using Ubuntu. The 4.4 beta seems to still have this problem so I’m seeing if others have encountered it.
