I don't think so.
I want to use MS to teach score reading, but its not much of a challenge if there's an indicator all the time.

Export the score as MP3. Then, you can play that back while looking at the score. Or, give your students printouts, but play back from your own computer. That might be easier, since you can work on short sections.
