After latest update (4.4.0) I I lost a useful feature 😢😢

Hey everyone, I hope this post finds everyone well today!

First of all, I freakin' love MS4! I think MS4 will grow even more now that finale is gone - besides, it's the best (imo). 😎😎😎😎😎😎

When I upgrade to version 4.4.0 I lost the ability to increase the size of the repeat symbols such as segno, coda; practically everything in the repeats & jump pallette. What I mean is that, I used to click on the segno symbol, click on the 'properties tab', go down to 'style' and increase the font size as if it were a text and had the ability to make it bigger or smaller. At first I thought it was a glitch, but when I opened other older scores I've created, the same thing happened. I then quickly realized after a while that this feature was gone.

I am learning to read music (chord charts) and while creating my own scores is beneficial, I used to use this feature A LOT and was super helpful when sharing my scores to the older generation, especially for those who have a bit of an eyesight issues. The huge coda or segno helped them a lot.

How can we bring this useful feature back? 🤔

Thanks in advance for those can help!

Vladi 😎

I can confirm this. Since font size control is still there, this is not an intended behavior.
Trying to find if anyone reported this before

Hey, Thanks for the response.

Right! But this is something new though, as in, it just happened with the update. I always update my MS and that feature was always there. When I made the jump to v4.4.0, that feature went away. Do you know how to reach out to the developers about this? I kinda need this feature

Thanks in advance!

Arrrrg ...

This reminds me of when development moved Show back-tied fret marks from 3.6's Staff Properties>Advanced Properties>Note Values and put it in Ms4's Style>Tablature>Tied Fret Marks—while all the other tablature properties remained in Advanced Properties.

Granted, with the added flexibility of seven flavors for tie properties, that might have been hard to fit in the Property panel's allotted space. But in such cases, why not keep the original Show back-tied fret marks label ... but as a "hyper link" to the relevant Styles sub-window?

And don't these new styles affect ALL staves in the score? Isn't that the case with Repeat Text Left and Repeat Text Right too?

What if the user wants a more granular approach?
