Using styles

Working with styles seems to be buggy at best. Using MuseScore 4.4 on a Mac running Ventura.

The documentation states that you cannot make a NEW style, yet a number of user-defined styles are available in the STYLES window (I'm looking at TEXT STYLES). I make changes to a style (pre-defined or newly defined). The newly defined styles (user-defined) seems to do pretty much nothing. Changing a style may change a selected character but does not change all items assigned that style. Oddly I can do something like change the color and that will "take". But if I change the font or size, it does not.

I like the program, but this needs to work more reliably.
