Text Messed Up

Hi, I updated to 4.4 today eagerly hoping to use the new drumline writing material, but when I opened the new version, most of the text and everything I type on my keyboard is various musical symbols from tabs to fret numbers. I tried to change the language and I deleted and reinstalled the program, but nothing has fixed it. Any advice?

Most likely, a "music notation font" has accidentally been chosen as a text font. You can choose a different font via Preferences > Appearance. For reference, this is what the Appearance page looks like with a normal font: Scherm­afbeelding 2024-09-02 om 05.46.18.png
so that you can find the font dropdown :)
