Musescore 4 file crashed
I was working on a file and Musescore randomly crashed taking away hours of work! I've tried everything losing this is not an acceptable outcome!!

This is the price you pay for free Musescore
Musescore saves backup files in a hidden .mscbackup folder, which is located in the same place as your project file.
There should be a file named .name_of_your_file.mscz~
where "name_of_your_file" is the name of your project file.
Copy it to another location, remove the ~ from the file name and try to open it.
Also after Crash Musescore offers to restore the file from autosave, which it does every 2 minutes
