Please Help! Bassoon Sound won't play on score.

I've been working on a symphony for around 6 months with no error, I've been able to add and take sounds as I please, but a while ago, the Bassoon sound will not play the right sound, or sometimes no sound at all. While it sounds like its just one part, it has completely ruined everything. When I have it play a trill, it will just play a loud, out of time, low e quarter note, but the original is a g whole note! And other times it won't even play the E. I have tried removing it from musescore and opening the file, updating both musescore and musehub, exciting the score and restarting musescore, restarting my computer, and so much more. When I use MS basic the bassoons make a sound but it sounds awful compared to the Muse Sounds, and while I can hear it, the score sounds totally different. I have visited similar forums stating issues similar to mine, and what worked for them hasn't worked for me! I'm at a loss and I'm so close to giving up. Somebody please help!
