remove a score
How does one remove a score one no longer wants in the "New & recent" scores view? I have a score that was created when I was looking up the meaning and use of Volta ('Volta-Example-in-ms-4.2_0'), and I can't seem to get rid of it.

This is not possible unless you find the file in which this is saved and edit it with a text editor.
But you can either delete all of them or open more, so that this entry moves further back over time.
There's a trick:
1. Rename the file to something else
2. In MuseScore, switch to a different page and then back to the home page
-> MuseScore will remove the file from the list, because it can't find it, because it has a different name now
3. (optionally) rename the file back
