Frozen Score
When I open the score and then select Format - Style
the score locks up and nothing can be done.
Anything I select just results in a ding sound.
This happened trying to change a font on some system text.
why is this happening???

Format > Style opens the style dialog. While this dialog is open, it is of course not possible to interact with the main window.
It is weird that you don't see the dialog though. Are you perhaps using multiple monitors and has the dialog been opened on a different monitor than you expect?
