losing pizz when changing from Muse Sounds back to Muse Basic

using Mus Studio 4.4x and Muse Sounds - have assigned pizzicato to several strings, especially to contrabass, but dissatisfied with Mus Sounds so have reverted to MuseBasic just for the instrument, for example, contrabass, but the notes are played arco. Have deleted and re-entered the command for pizz, but still plays arco. Have closed the file and re--opened, still arco. If I change back to MuseSounds it plays pizz. What can I do?
