Fon't not showing

I am trying to install a font but it is not showing up in the drop down.

I have a windows computer, and the latest version of musescore. The font is called Dutch & Harley.

I have installed it for all users, and it shows up in my computer list of fonts, but it is not showing up in musescore. I have already tried restarting my computer, and trying it with different scores, but it is just not showing.

I tried googling it online, and on other topics on this forum, and I saw that this is a more common problem, but almost all the answers say you have to install for all users. I have already done this, but it is still not working, and I am not able to find any other answers. Any tips for what else I can try?

If you are using Windows, you can try to force Musescore to use another font engine (Freetype, the default font engine seems to ignore some fonts).
Right-click on the Musescore shortcut on the desktop -> Properties.
In the text box containing something like "C:\Program Files (x86)\MuseScore 4\bin\MuseScore4.exe", you can add:
--platform windows:fontengine=directwrite
It worked for me!
