Notes with octave up or octave down cue notes
I often have situations where the main note may not be playable by the average player so i need to have an octave up/down alternate note more in the average range. I would like the main note to be regular size and the alternate note should be cue sized, AND the notes should be connected. I can often use a second voice and make one (as appropriate) cue notes, even they don't really line up (for quarter notes). It just doesn't look good for eighths or quicker. Just to help the description , i've included a sample of the kind of effect i'd like to achieve.
How can i make this happen?

Tried that. It wants to make both notes small.

Select the notehead, and in the properties panel, choose 'small notehead'

Ah, i've been selecting cue size, didn't realize that was different from small notehead. Thanks!
