Make a three line staves instead for four for a choir piece,
I want to combine the soprano and alto parts on one staff (see the attached example). I used a solo instrument with a piano accompaniment form. But how can I put the text "S. A. (under S)" at the beginning of the single staff to indicate it is for two voices (soprano and alto)?

Write "S.", "Enter" and "A." in the instrument name.

Thanks.
Furthermore, I suggest that you make the Soprano - Voice 1, and the Alto - Voice 2.
This is necessary if the parts do not always have the same rhythm - and allows both
part to appear independently. OK? Jeff
