Crash when pressing play on files using Sforzando

The name pretty much describes the issue. After opening any file using Sforzando for any instrument(s), attempting to run the playback or selecting any note will immediately crash the program. Switching every instrument to MS Basic and then back to Sforzando fixes the issue until the file is closed and then opened again, even if you save the "changes." Obviously I don't want to waste time resetting every single instrument in the mixer on large scores, so any fast fixes would be appreciated.
