Text too small for my aging eyes…and a wee bit of etcetera….
I am new, a refugee from (insert dark, theatrical music here) the wretched new owners of Finale, after forty years of misplaced loyalty, learning the new ropes of this wonderful Musescore 4....I can no longer see very well, and the font size on the score page from my imported works (i.e. instrument names) in Musescore is so small I can not read it, if I enlarge the page to the point I can read the script, the page is too large to see but a small section of the score, so I need, if possible to enlarge the font size of the imported names and tempo markings, et al........(here comes the wee bit of etcetera) also I would like to add a message or two for performers/conductors along the way, but can not find out how to type text onto the page that is not lyrics, or other such associated text……….please help if possible.

Size can be modified in menu Format / Style / Text styles / Instrument name, or other / Size, among other options (font, etc.)

Thank you very much for your response!!! I will give it a go. I am afraid, with all the new things to learn, I tend to be a little lacking observational skills with all the details, very kind of you to help me out in my somewhat dense state. 🙏 You are a gem!

If you can't see the text very well, I assume all text and also notes are too small.
You should magnify all of the page by "Format -> Page settings -> Scaling".
