Trill volume

I find that whenever I add a trill, the volume of that note significantly decreases. What am I doing incorrectly? Thanks.

For what instrument and what dynamic are you applying the trill? A work around that comes to mind is to apply an invisible dynamic on the trill, then the original dynamic after the trill. Hope this helps.
