Scores crashing

I have been using Musescore for quite a few years, and I normally use VDL kontact plug-ins for nice Drumline sounds. After the most recent releases however, anytime I go into one of my scores and I click on even a single note, the entire program crashes. Furthermore when I go to load it back and click on another note, the EXACT same problem. Does anyone have the same problem, and or know how to fix this?
Note, The pictures below are in order to show the sequence of events. After clicking on the note, the program completely closes.
