Guitar: How to Disable Automatic Fretboard Diagram
Hello Forum:
4.5 often automatically inserts a fingering in fretboard diagrams when after I designate the chord named.
I looked thru format > style > fretboard diagrams
How do I turn off that automatic fingering suggestion?
Thank you!

I am also interested in finding this out — I'm writing chords for a ukulele part in a jazz piece and every time I copy-paste an existing chord diagram from elsewhere in the piece and change the chord name to something common like C7, it automatically rescales the diagram to default size (overriding the setting in the Style Settings), adds the fifth and sixth strings back in, and puts in the fretting required for C7 on the guitar. I then have to manually change everything back again and create all the correct fingerings (even if all I'm doing is changing a C7+4+9 chord diagram to a C7 chord, which in this case uses the exact same diagram).

Yep. The way I got arround it was to name the chord something wont recognise: eg, Bb7.(#5) instead of Bb7(#5).
Don't fight the computer code.... bamboozle it instead.

... or, take a Musescore coder out to lunch.
