When starting a new project, it only brings up one page. How do I get a 2nd page to continue on?

Fill in the notes and rests. When the first page is full, the second page appears automatically.

Additionally you must append more measures...
Just add more measures and fill 'em up. Musescore will create a new page when one is needed.
